From August 11 to 31, Mayor Radhakrishnan Stadium will transform into Tamil Nadu’s hockey battleground, as 10 top teams across two pools gear up for high-octane encounters. With matches slated at 2:30 PM and 4:00 PM daily, fans can expect relentless action, fierce rivalries, and moments that define champions.
This year’s format promises electrifying encounters across two pools:

After the round-robin pool matches, the top 3 teams from each pool will qualify for the “Super Six” stage, where the final sprint for the TPL 3.0 title will begin. In this phase, each team faces the 3 qualifiers from the opposite pool—bringing together the fiercest contenders in cross-pool clashes.
Once the Super Six battle begins, there will be no room for error. One bad quarter could cost a title shot. One bold goal could make history.

Associate Technical Director Mr. Navneedhakrishnan, who co-led the intricate fixture drawing process, reflected:
“We’ve studied past league rhythms, team patterns, and player demands to strike the right balance. TPL isn’t just about matches—it’s about momentum, fairness, and legacy building.”
Organising Secretary Mr. Rajendran made an impassioned appeal:
“It’s time we move beyond the field. We need a Tamil Nadu Hockey Fans Association—a movement to support players, push visibility, and pack stadiums. If kabaddi and football can create fan armies, hockey—our original pride—must rise too.”
