
The game between Pattabiram Strikers and Dollar Hockey Club was a thrilling contest that took place on a breezy morning, with both teams eager to make their mark in the Tiruvallur Premier Hockey League. The Strikers, with their experienced team, dominated the match and secured an impressive 6-1 victory against the young and energetic Dollar Hockey Club.

The first quarter of the match saw both teams trying to establish their dominance, but it was the Pattabiram Strikers who struck early with a well-executed field goal by Dinesh in the eighth minute. They continued their attacking play and scored another goal in the 13th minute, thanks to Sudharshan's cheeky touch from a through ball.

Dollar Hockey Club fought back with a counter-attack and managed to score a goal through a penalty corner in the second quarter, thanks to Logeshwaran's effort. The game till this time had regular counterattacks from the Dallars through consistent midfield attacks by Logeshwaran and Vishnuvaradhan in the right flank.
The game was well poised at 2:1 until the end of the second quarter. The 3rd quarter saw very well-organized strikers who did not give any chance to the opponents and rolled the ball well and completely controlled play. They struck the Dallars from both flanks wave after wave.
Sudharshan delivered a magical pass from 23 meters to the pacing Kalai who delicately routed the ball into the goal in the 32nd minute. This was definitely the goal of the match. The fans on the sidelines were awestruck and gave a standing ovation to this goal.
Jagan, the Striker's captain dodged the goalie in a witty manner to claim his first goal of the tournament in the 39th minute, and soon after he completed a brace with a clean hit in the 41st minute, followed by Gerald's goal in the 54th minute. Despite their efforts, Dollar Hockey Club failed to penetrate the Pattabiram Strikers' defense and only managed to get eight shots on goal.
Kalai was adjudged the man of the match for his penetrating passes and the stunning goal he scored. The fans on the sidelines were thrilled with the goal bonanza and gave a standing ovation to the players.

Vijay, a Strikers fan, said, "It was an outstanding performance by the team, and I am thrilled with the way they played." Gopi, another fan, added, "The team played with great spirit and determination, and they deserved the win." Babu, a Dollar Hockey Club supporter, said, "Our team played well, but the Strikers were just too good today."
During halftime, some fans had a chance to play some ball, and they enjoyed themselves thoroughly.
The match was officiated by Umpires, Mr. Annakumar and Mr. Krishnakumar, who kept the game under control and handed out green cards to Logeshwaran, Deepak Kumar, Prabha, and Sudharshan. The scoring judge for the game was Mr. Navaneethakrishnan, and the technical officer was Mr. Lakshminarayanan.
Sridharan, the owner of Pattabiram Strikers, was elated with the team's performance and said, "We’re delighted to have started the tournament with a win, and we hope to build on this momentum throughout the season," Lazar, the owner of Dollar Hockey Club, was gracious in defeat and said, "It was a tough game, but we played our hearts out. Our young team showed great potential and I am proud of their performance today. We will work on our weaknesses and come back stronger in the upcoming matches."
