The Tamil Nadu Schools Hockey League (TSHL), conceived by the Hockey Unit of Tamil Nadu (HUT), has taken off in the district of tiruvallur under the capable leadership of Hockey Tiruvallur, spearheaded by SM Nagar Hockey Association. This district and zone-based initiative has already struck a responsive chord among schools, with about 306 schools enrolled, highlighting the enthusiasm for hockey at the grassroots level throughout Tamilnadu.
A total of over 5000 students will participate in the league, which involves more than 500 matches across all 38 districts of the state. HUT entrusted Hockey Tiruvallur with conducting the inaugural edition of TSHL at Tiruvallur District, and the matches in Tiruvallur have begun with six schools participating:

Total Number of Matches
With each team playing multiple matches, a total of 14 matches will be played at the Sri NPV Ramasamy Udayar Hockey Centre, FIH standard Astro-turf at Porur.
The prize distribution will happen on the 7th of July at 4 pm.
Winner & runner trophies along with 3 player of the tournamnets trophies & certificates will be distributed along with Hockey Tiruvallur goodies to the officials and team members all of which is sponsored by Mr. Ashok Kumar,Asst Commisoner of police & Mr Perumal, of SM Nagar.
