Dinesh Claims Dragflick King Title in Thrilling First Edition

In a groundbreaking event, Hockey Tiruvallur hosted the first-ever Dragflick King contest, a remarkable showcase of power and precision in dragflicking. The competition witnessed the rise of exceptional talents, with Dinesh from Madurai emerging as the undisputed champion. Flicking at an incredible speed of 114kmph, Dinesh left spectators in awe and secured the coveted title.

The journey to the finals was filled with fierce battles and intense challenges. Competitors like Somanna and Vijaya Saradhi showcased their exceptional skills, pushing themselves to their limits. Somanna from Indian Bank clinched second place with a blistering speed of 113kmph, while Vijaya Saradhi from SRM claimed third place with an impressive 111kmph flick.

Mr. Jothikumaran, former Secretary General of the Indian Hockey Federation, witnessed the contest and presented Dinesh with a cheque of Rs 25000 during the halftime of the Tiruvallur Premier League. He commended the participants, stating, "The Dragflick King contest demonstrates the immense talent and dedication present in our country. These athletes possess a rare skill that can change the course of a game. It was truly a sight to behold."

Overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, Dinesh expressed his feelings, saying, "Winning the Dragflick King contest is a dream come true. It inspires me to strive for greater heights."
