Organized by Hockey Tiruvallur, the Independence Day Exhibition matches showcased an exhilarating clash between SRM College and Tamilnadu Police, as well as a riveting encounter between SM Nagar Masters and Tamilnadu Veterans. These matches not only celebrated the spirit of independence but also united players and fans through a shared love for the sport.

In the opening match, Tamilnadu Police secured a triumphant victory against SRM College with a score of 3-1. The goal scorers for Tamilnadu Police included Sakthivel (20"), Kumar (23"), and Shanmugavel (40"). SRM College managed to secure a goal through a penalty stroke, with Dineshkumar finding the net at the 24th-minute mark.

The second match was a roller-coaster of emotions as SM Nagar Masters and Tamilnadu Veterans battled to a thrilling draw. Vaman showcased his skill with a brace of goals in the 4th and 22nd minutes. Hariharan of SM Nagar scored an early goal in the 8th minute, only to be matched by an equalizer from Hariharan of Tamilnadu Veterans at the 33rd-minute mark.
