Tiruvallur Premier League Managers Meeting: Rules and Regulations Discussed

On the evening of April 8, 2023, the Shri NPV Ramasamy Udayar hockey Centre was bustling with activity as the office bearers and team managers gathered for the Tiruvallur Premier League Managers Meeting. The meeting was held to discuss the rules and regulations of the upcoming league, which is set to start on April 15, 2023, at the same venue.

The meeting began with a warm welcome by the organizing committee, and the tournament director Padmashri V Baskaran briefed the attendees on the format of the league. He explained that the league is open to all and would feature around 10 teams divided into two pools. The top four teams would advance to the semifinals, the semifinals will be played in 2 legs with the winners meeting in the grand finale.

The Technical Director Mohammed Muneer then took the stage to explain and clarify the rules and regulations of the league. He emphasized the importance of fair play and player safety and urged all teams to adhere to the rules strictly. He also briefed the managers on the team composition, substitution rules, and other important aspects of the game.

During the Q&A session, the attendees raised several queries, which were promptly addressed by the tournament director and the technical director. The managers appreciated the transparency of the rules and regulations and expressed their confidence in the league's successful conduct.

One of the team managers, Mr. Vijayakumar, said, "We are excited to be a part of this league and are committed to playing fair and by the rules. We look forward to a successful season."
